Are you new to golf? Not a problem. New golfers are welcome in the EWGA.
By joining the Seattle Chapter, you will find a welcoming environment to learn

fun.
The Seattle Chapter offers the following to help out new golfers:

This program connects more experienced EWGA members with newer golfers for one-on-one help with some of the
non-technical issues surrounding the game of golf. For more detail about an overview of the program or more
information about the guidelines and a checklist for becoming a Mentor or a Mentee read the PDFs below.
-
An annual Mentor Tournament also known as the "I've-Never-Been-in-a-Tournament
Tournament"
-
Tournaments that are 'flighted' such that new golfers compete against
other new golfers rather than against more highly skilled golfers
-
The opportunity to play in leagues and weekend events with more experienced
golfers who can help teach you rules, etiquette and pace of play guidelines
