What is the EWGA?

Founded in 1991, the EWGA is a national organization that brings women together for golf and for fun; the Seattle Chapter was established in 1993 and is one of over 115 local chapters around the US and in 4 other countries. It's an organization that offers something for everyone, whether new to the game or looking for another option for competition. EWGA Seattle Chapter

The Seattle Chapter of the EWGA was founded in 1993 and is home to over 200 women who enjoy golf for business and for fun. Seattle Chapter Charities

EWGA is a non-profit organization that seeks to create positive change for issues important to women golfers and to promote the growth of women's golf. As such, proceeds from Seattle Chapter tournaments, raffles, and other events are donated to the charities listed below.

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf
The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf is a non-profit developmental junior golf program designed for girls ages 6 -18. It was formed specifically to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships, and compete in a non-threatening environment. 

The local chapter of the
 LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Club, the First Tee Seattle receives proceeds from the Seattle Chapter's drawing and auction at the Tee-Off event held in April.

EWGA Foundation

The EWGA Foundation, a non-profit organization affiliated with EWGA was founded in 2003 to provide education and player development programs and funding to, among other programs, the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program. 

The EWGA Foundation receives proceeds from various Seattle Chapter fund-raisers and donations.

Golf Fore Red
Started in 2008 to raise funds for women's heart health, EWGA is a hole sponsor and encourages members to attend this annual event.  Read more for details and registration.
