February President’s Corner

Your Chapter Board met for our annual planning session on January 5, 2008. Last year’s goals were member retention and succession planning. The Board decided that the 2008 goals for our Chapter would be: member retention, moderate growth, education, and succession planning.
We then discussed what each committee has planned for the year and I am so excited for the variety, quality, and quantity of things they have planned for you, our members. Some of the items include participation at Golf show March 14-16, the Annual Kick Off Lunch at Bear Creek Country Club on April 5, the start of our golf leagues in late April, the Golf for Red Tournament at Trilogy (to support the American Heart Association Go Red for Women Campaign) co-sponsored with the NLGA on June 21, the Chapter Championship at Echo Falls on July 12, and the many, many education, golf, and social events planned throughout the year.
I would like to introduce and extend a special thank you to be our Committee Chairs for 2008:
