Summer May Be Waning, but There’s Much Golf to be Played

It’s hard to believe it is August and the season will soon be over. Plenty of playing opportunities remain, including weekend fun play at Twin Rivers, Harbour Pointe, Lake Padden, Sumner Meadows, Avalon Golf Links and Gold Mountain. Be sure to also mark your calendars for the “Pink Ball" Weekend Fun Play on September 20 at Snohomish Golf Course and the Glowball Tournament on October 4 at Riverbend. Check the website for event registration deadlines and to reserve your spots. Come cheer on our Chapter champions as they compete in the section’s semi-finals on August 23 at Tumwater Valley Golf Course. Winners will move on to the Championship at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Aloha, Oregon on Sept. 26-27, marking the first time the finals have been held in the Pacific Northwest. Join us as a spectator or volunteer! If you haven’t already saved the date, plan to join us on Thursday, October 16 at Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville for our year-end banquet and celebration. We plan to continue our tradition of a campaign for Dress For Success, and of course, the popular gift baskets created by our leagues.
