Etiquette and Rules Seminar Interbay Golf Center		Tues March 22

Location: Seattle Registration Fee: $20 Event Coordinator: Paula Bachtold Event Start Time: 6:30pm Registration Deadline: March 17		Join us for appetizers at the Interbay Golf Center as we learn and refresh our knowledge of golf etiquette and rules. We'll have some fun games and prizes, and of course, a great time with great friends!

Spring Tee Off Bear Creek Golf & Country Club		Sat April 2

Location: Woodinville Registration Fee: $45 Event Coordinator: Yvonne Gitchel Event Start Time: 9:30am Registration Deadline: March 28		Join us as we kick off the 2011 Golf Season! Peruse our Vendor Expo, enjoy a Fashion Show, participate in our fund-raiser to benefit the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, and learn more about what our Chapter has planned for you this year! Our guest speaker, Mary Marshall, Senior Vice President, Vistage International, and EWGA member, will share her insights on leveraging “connections” for business and for life. This event is open to members as well as to guests interested in learning more about EWGA. We look forward to seeing you as we start another fun and exciting golf season!

Spring Tee Off Golf Redmond Ridge Golf Club		Sat April 2

Location: Redmond Registration Fee: $58 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 1:30pm Registration Deadline: March 28		You and your guests are invited to golf immediately after our annual Spring Tee Off Brunch on Saturday, April 2. Please note that you must sign up for the Tee Off Brunch to be eligible to golf in this event.

New Member Mixer / Weekend Fun Play Mt. Si Golf Course		Sat April 9

Location: Snoqualmie Registration Fee: $53 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 10:00am Registration Deadline: April 5		Attention all new and returning EWGA members - this weekend event is all about you! The New Member Mixer is 18 holes of golf played with a mixture of old & new friends at an EWGA Seattle favorite course, Mt Si in Snoqualmie, WA. Who knows, if we're feeling lucky on the course, we may head to the casino afterward!

Weekend Fun Play Foster Golf Links		Sat April 16

Location: Tukwila Registration Fee: $39 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 9:00am Registration Deadline: April 8		Foster Golf Links was built in 1925 along the meandering Duwamish River providing plenty of water challenges, and long tree lined fairways. The course is appealing to all level of player and always makes for a great time with good friends.

Location: Seattle Registration Fee: $38 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 9:00am Registration Deadline: April 21		Dust off your golf skills at our Keys to Consisteancy clinic where we focus on grip, set up, and pre-shot routines then join in a fun game of 9 holes to tune up your mid and short range games for the season.

Spring Training / Wine Tasting Weekend in Central WA Horn Rapids		Fri April 29

Location: Kennewick Registration Fee: $49 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 11:00am Registration Deadline: April 17		The 8th annual, 3-day "Spring Training" weekend is a perfect opportunity to tune up your golf game after a long winter. We will play 3 courses in Central Washington including Horn Rapids in Kennewick, Wine Valley in Walla Walla and Apple Tree in Yakima. Join us for all or part of this much anticipated weekend! This year we're adding a Saturday afternoon wine tasting walking tour in downtown Walla Walla and the historic Marcus Whitman Hotel, over 14 tasting rooms within minutes of each other - there's no way you can miss this trip now! Hotel rooms have not been pre-reserved so you'll need to make your own hotel reservations...we recommend you do that sooner rather than later since it's a busy weekend in Walla Walla (really! The class reunion of 60-65!) & hotel rooms will fill up fast. The Marcus Whitman and LaQuinta Inn are close by. If you need a roommate or are looking for a carpool, please make note of this in the "special requests" section of the online sign up form.

Weekend Fun Play Bellevue Golf Course		Sat May 14

Location: Bellevue Registration Fee: $43 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 10:00am Registration Deadline: May 3		This 3rd annual event designed for the participants in the newly renamed EWGA mentor program, "Fairway Friends". This is a member / mentee scramble format event with an emphasis on just getting out there & enjoying ourselves. All EWGA members are welcome to play in this event, bring a friend, it's a great way to introduce everything EWGA has to offer!

Weekend Fun Play West Seattle Golf Course		Sun May 22

Location: Seattle Registration Fee: $58 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 11:00am Registration Deadline: May 13		West Seattle Golf Course provides spectacular views and challenging golf. Food, drink and prizes are included so come out and enjoy one of Seattle's beautiful municipal courses!

"I'm New to Tournaments" Tournament Lynnwood Municipal Golf Course		Sat June 4

Location: Lynnwood Registration Fee: $52 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 12:00pm Registration Deadline: May 23		I'm New To Tournaments is geared toward those new to tournament play and/or those still uncomfortable with tournament play wanting to try it out, but with a little guidance. The tournament is played on a shorter course and a more experienced golfer will be in your foursome to help out with rules and tournament-play questions. Prizes will be awarded to tournament winners & everyone is guaranteed to have a great time! After your participation in this event, we encourage you to also consider participating in the Chapter Championship at the end of July! Tournaments are really just another day on the course with good friends!

Spokane Chapter Weekend Mixer Palouse Ridge Golf Club		Thu June 9

Location: Pullman Registration Fee: $69 Event Coordinator: Ronna Ricco Event Start Time: 12:00pm Registration Deadline: June 2		This event has been huge success in past years and this years course line up is sure to attract even more participants. The plan is to golf at Palouse Ridge in Pullman on Thursday, stay the night in that area, then head about 90 minutes north to play Twin Lakes Golf Course in Rathdrum, ID on Friday morning. Saturday we will golf the beautiful Highlands course in Post Falls, ID, and Liberty Lake Golf Course in Liberty Lake WA early Sunday morning before heading home. Join us for all or part of this much anticipated weekend!! Hotel suggestions are included in the flyer. If you need a roommate or are looking for a carpool, please make note of this on the sign up form.

Rally for Cure Pink Ball Tournament Legion Memorial Golf Course		Sat June 18

Location: Everett Registration Fee: $59 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 11:00am Registration Deadline: June 8		Join us as we Rally For the Cure in support of "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" with our ever popular Pink Ball event at this favorite north of Seattle course. If you are not familiar with the pink ball format it’s simple and fun so sign up today! All skill levels are encouraged to participate. Price includes lunch and prizes. Sport the cure color (Pink, of course) and come enjoy some fun competitions!

Weekend Fun Play Avalon Links		Sun June 26

Location: Burlington Registration Fee: $57 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 11:00am Registration Deadline: June 22		Overlooking the picturesque Skagit Valley and offering panoramic views of the Olympic and Cascade ranges, Avalon boasts three exceptional 9 hole layouts, that together make up one of Washington’s finest golf experiences. Come join us for a great day on the links!

Stars and Stripes Event Walter Hall Golf Course		Sun Jul 3

Location: Everett Registration Fee: $64 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 10:00 AM Registration Deadline: Jun 24		One of our more popular events honoring the birth of America, each participant gets a flag and a "handicap" based on skill level, as you progress through the round you will plant your flag at the hole where you reach your handicap score. It's a great day for all skill levels followed a buffet and tails of honor and woe! Don't miss out!

Championship Fun Play/Practice round Home Course		Sat Jul9

Location: Dupont Registration Fee: $61 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 12:00 PM Registration Deadline: Jun 24		This is a great fun play event for those not participating in the Chapter Championship (but you really should give it a try!), and a great opportunity for singles and scramble teams to practice the course prior to the Championship on the 10th.

Seattle Chapter Championship Home Course		Sun Jul10

Location: Dupont Registration Fee: $125 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 9:00 AM Registration Deadline: Jun 24		Registration is mail in only: EWGA2001ChampRegistration.pdf. This is a great event for any golfer - you can participant as a single player, playing in the flight that matches your skill level, or you can play as part of a scramble team. Players with higher handicaps have a great opportunity of moving on to the PNW Section Semi-finals at Palouse Golf Club in Pullman on August 27th - why? Because traditionally there is lower participation in those flights, offering a better opportunity to move on. So come out and enjoy the fun, and participate in the largest women's amateur golf tournament of its kind!

Fun Play White Horse Golf Club		Sat Jul 16

Location: Kingston Registration Fee: $58 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 12:00 PM Registration Deadline: Jul 11		Just a quick ferry ride from Edmonds to Kingston and you are 10 minutes from one of the most picturesque courses in Washington State. You can walk on the ferry and have the course shuttle pick you up to save on cost and avoid the ferry lines. This is a great course for all skill levels and feels like a vacation away from the city!

Fun Play Eaglemont Golf Club		Sat Jul 30

Location: Mt. Vernon Registration Fee: $75 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 10:00 AM Registration Deadline: Jul 18		Eaglemont is a Scenic and challenging 18-hole layout and ranked in the "Top 10" public courses in the state by Golf Washington Magazine. It's not unusual, during your round, to see Eagles. Well worth the hour drive north, a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Blue Angels Fun Play Jefferson Park Golf Club		Sun Aug 7

Location: Seattle Registration Fee: $55 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 10:00 AM Registration Deadline: Jul 22		Come witness the Blue Angels at their finest as they fly low over the course, so low you can see the pilots faces! What a thrill to see them in action and hear and feel the sound of freedom. Oh, and get in some great golf at one of Seattle's local courses.

Fun Play McCormick Woods Golf Course		Sat Aug 13

Location: Port Orchord Registration Fee: $87 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 11:00 AM Registration Deadline: Aug 8		Start the day with a relaxing ferry ride enjoying spectacular views, on your way to McCormick Woods. Opened in 1987, McCormick Woods was built in concert with the Audubon Society to make the most of this spectacular spot. The result is a championship public course with serene lakes amid towering firs and cedars.

Fun Play Auburn Golf Course		Sun Aug 21

Location: Auburn Registration Fee: $49 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 10:00 AM Registration Deadline: Aug 18		Nestled along the Green River and situated on 150 acres, the Auburn Golf Course offers scenic views from several hillside holes, and challenging golf, but not too challenging for newer golfers.

Fun Play Trophy Lake Golf and Casting		Sat Sep 10

Location: Port Orchard Registration Fee: $98 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 11:00 AM Registration Deadline: Aug 29		Trophy Lake is located just across the Puget Sound from Seattle in Port Orchard with breathtaking views of the Olympic mountains and Mount Rainier. The course offers sloping fairways and expansive greens and offers something for every level of golfer.

Location: Leavenworth Registration Fee: $70 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: noon Registration Deadline: Sep 9		Sorry, but it is difficult to keep your head down when teeing off because you will be surrounded by spectacular mountain views on every tee! Our first stop for Fall Fling, this championship caliber golf course offers terrific views of mountains and lakes and plenty of challenging golf shots! Sitting 20 miles east of Steven's Pass and 15 miles West of Leavenworth it's just a quick jaunt over highway 2 to a world of wonderful golf.

Location: Wenatchee Registration Fee: $75 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 10:00 AM Registration Deadline: Sep 9		The 2nd course on our Fall Finale, Desert Canyon, in Wenatchee, offers picturesque holes, wild life and beautiful surroundings.

Fun Play Highlander Golf Club		Sun Sep 18

Location: Wenatchee Registration Fee: $69 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 9:00 AM Registration Deadline: Sep 9		The 3rd course on our Fall Finale is Highlander Golf Club, in Wenatchee. The eighteen hole, 6,466 yard course is perched along the eastern cliff of the Columbia River with dramatic vistas and gaping pot bunkers on nearly every hole. The par is 72, but like its Scottish ancestors, Mother Nature can own the day and your game. The course and slope rating is 70.9/125, challenging even in perfect conditions. But we've mastered this course in years past and we'll get the better of it this year too!

Fun Play Jackson Park Golf Course		Sun Sep 25

Location: Seattle Registration Fee: $43 Event Coordinator: Debby Andresen Event Start Time: 10:00 AM Registration Deadline: Sep 9		For our last round of the season we will keep it close to home at Jackson Park in Northeast Seattle. Jackson offers elevated tees, blind shots, water and sand hazards. Set among the evergreens one would never know they are in the heart of the city. This just might become one of your favorite local haunts. See you on the links!

Member Appreciation Party Bellevue Red Lion Inn		Tue Oct 4th

Location: Bellevue Registration Fee: $25 Early Bird, $30 Regular Event Coordinator: Yvonne Gitchel Event Start Time: 6:00 PM Registration Deadline: Sep 27		Join your EWGA golf buddies at our annual Member Appreciation Party (formerly known as the Year-End Banquet)! We’ll have Door Prizes, our League Basket Auction, Minute-to-Win it competition, Year-End wrap up, and maybe a few surprises thrown in! Your Chapter Board voted to use some of the money we have had in savings from years past to supplement the cost of the banquet. This means each member’s cost to attend the banquet has been greatly reduced – by almost 50%! All proceeds from the Basket Auction will go to benefit Dress for Success Seattle. At the party, we will be collecting cleaned suits, gently used handbags & shoes, jewelry & accessories, and toiletry products – i.e. make-up, nail polish, deodorant. Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
